The useful starting point
Compare the full cost over the period you expect to study, including taxes, renewals, instalment charges and optional assessments. Save the refund terms that apply to your exact enrolment before paying. A headline fee or a generic refund badge is not enough to establish the terms of your purchase.
Make the prices comparable
For a subscription course, multiply the recurring charge by your realistic completion period. For a one-time program, add any mandatory assessment or certificate fee. Keep optional extras separate. If the fee is quoted in another currency, use a clearly dated conversion estimate and check the card issuer’s charges; do not label that estimate as the provider’s Indian checkout fee.

Record the refund conditions
Ask when the refund window starts, whether opening materials or attending a class affects eligibility, what deductions apply, and how a request must be made. Save the exact checkout terms and payment receipt. Separate credentials from learning
Ask who issues the certificate and what it certifies: attendance, completing assignments, an examination, or academic credit. Verify any claimed university relationship on the institution’s own website. Do not assume a provider certificate is a degree, a professional licence or a hiring guarantee.
Use a purchase record
Before paying, save: the program name and URL; your written quotation; tax and currency; payment plan; access end date; batch timetable; prerequisites; certificate description; refund and rescheduling policy; and a support contact. Date this record. If a sales call promises something absent from the written terms, ask for a written clarification.
A course that misses your available study time or prerequisite level is poor value even when discounted. Start with the fit guide before evaluating the fee.
